UPPER CANYON CREEK

If green is your favorite color then this short and beautiful hike is for you. Great for kids of all ages, its easy walking the who le way and lots to keep the little people interested.

It starts at the crossing of forest road 33 and Canyon Creek.

Look at those smiles, kids love this place.

There are perfect places for kids to fish.

A great little swimming hole to cool off in.

To get there from Pay son go east on highway 260 past Christopher Creek to the top of the rim. Go 3 more miles to the Young road (forest road 512) and turn right.

Then go 3 miles south to forest road 33 and turn left. Go five miles and you will be at Canyon Creek crossing.

You can visit the fish hatchery for added educational value for your children.
